That it's empty
I seek silence
In a world full of static
And screams
I ache for stillness
As I'm surrounded
By competing forces
Trying to drag me
Along their currents
I starve for nourishment
In an era of poison and neglect
I beg for relief
From the weight of this
Awareness on my shoulders
I need a release
From the constant internal whispers
I pray for love
Because it's what we need most
